Statement of Purpose

We believe every member of the body of Christ is called and anointed to serve in some area of ministry in and outside of the local church.  To be effective and fruitful each person needs to be equipped to the best of their God-given ability to work the ministry according to Ephesians 4:12.  This is a School of Ministry for Harvest Christian Church members, to train those in the church who have a desire to help others.  We realize desire alone will not fulfill or accomplish God's plan and purpose for our lives.

Spiritual Leadership 1A

For those aspiring for leadership, this in-depth study teaches the importance of setting priorities in ministry.

The Solid Foundation of Ministry

This class is designed to inform and enlighten each student of the keys to elevation and promotion in the life of ministry through faithfulness.


The Ministry of Helps
Instructor: Pastor Gary Corea

This class will inform each student that every member of the Body of Christ is placed in the church for a purpose.  Learn how to discover where you fit in for the care of God's people in the local church.


The Life of an Assisting Pastor
Instructor: Pastor Gary Corea

Learn the functions, responsibilities and characteristics of an assisting pastor.

The Character Key for Leadership
Instructor: Sylver Veloz

A study with the emphasis on faithfulness and humility which are the stepping stones to promotion.  Pastor Gary will emphasize how humility will keep you on the path of righteousness.

Deceptive Pitfalls in Ministry
Instructor: Sylver Veloz

The devil is out to destroy those who aspire to be in the ministry, especially leaders.  Pastor Gary gives an in-depth study that will help to identify, avoid and overcome these pitfalls.

The Great Wall of Protection

This class will enable each student to see the importance of the fear of the Lord and how we can walk and delight ourselves in it everyday.

Widsom and Compassion
Instructor: Paul Harrelson

This class is designed for those who have a heart to help people, but must depend on the wisdom of God and move with the same compassion Jesus did here in His earthly ministry.

Curriculum - 2nd Semester

Foundational Series
Instructor: Pastor Gary Corea

Based on the six foundational doctrines of Christ as found in Hebrews 6, this class will help each student learn the importance of going on to maturity after these truths have been established in the life of the believer.

Cost of Ministry
Instructor: Sylver Veloz

This class is designed to show each student that the value of ministry is determined by the price they are willing to pay.  Students will learn that being in the ministry will cost you something.

How to relate to your Pastor (video)
Instructor: Rev. Buddy Bell

God has given your pastor the gift to minister life to you.  In this video, Rev. Bell tells how to get your money's worth out of God's gift to you.

Understanding the Ministry of Helps (video)
Instructor: Rev. Buddy Bell

Rev. Bell gives the Biblical definition of the Ministry of Helps and reveals, in his humorous way, that ministry does not rest on status but service.

Finding Your place in the Body (video)

God wants you to be involved in the local church.  Rev. Bell teaches that we need to take time to understand each member of the body and realize what they are supposed to do.

The Anointing

This in-depth teaching will show each student the importance and value of the anointing in their life.  Sylver will give scriptural ways the anointing can increase and decrease in your life.

Church Government and Offices
Paul Harrelson

The principles of government within the local church are taught in this class.  The responsibility and role of each position will be emphasized, such as Pastor, Bishop, Elder and Deacon.  Also involved in each class are the types of Church Government.

New Testament Survey
Instructor: Mark Ralls

This class is designed to give students a foundational knowledge of the New Testament.  Authorship, historical background, purpose and theme of each book are studied.

Motivational Gifts

Discover where you fit in the Body of Christ, so that you may develop to the fullest and be the blessing God wants you to be.

Old Testament Survey
Instructor: Pastor Gary Corea

Giving each student a foundational knowledge of the Old Testament.  Authorship, historical background, purpose and theme of each book are studied.

The Deliberate Set Trap
Instructor: Paul Harrelson

In this class, each student will learn that Satan's plan is to get you out of the will of God through offenses.  They will learn how to recognize and overcome the deliberate set trap of the enemy.
