Gloria and I were married soon after high school.  We enjoyed what other young couples were doing; drinking and night clubbing on the weekends.  When our daughter was born, Gloria began seeking the Lord.  She knew things had to change and obviously for the better.  I wasn't ready to make a change, because I had allowed alcohol to control my life.  After the birth of our second daughter Gloria and the girls began attending church faithfully and I was noticing a difference in Gloria and how there was peace in our home.  After years of doing my own thing, I got up one Sunday morning and was getting dressed when Gloria asked, "where are you going?"  I told her, "to church with you."  This brought great joy to her and she began to thank God for answering her prayers.  This was the beginning of our life together in Jesus Christ.  We were members of a church in San Jose, California when our third daughter was born.  At this time we decided to take a leap of faith and move to Bakersfield.  We had been to several churches in Bakersfield, but decided that Harvest Christian Church was where God wanted us to be planted and grow in Him.  Our girls are now grown with families of their own and we have 8 beautiful grandchildren.  As members of Champions In Christ Motorcycle Ministry, Gloria and I love to ride and to witness to others about the love of Jesus Christ.  We know that what God has done for us, He can and wants to do the same for you.
