After 8 years of living a life filled with drugs and alcohol, in 1977 I attended a Jesus festival in Mt. Union, Pennsylvania and totally surrendered my life to Jesus Christ. I made Him my Lord on August 10, 1977. I knew for the first time that my life had changed and I had a purpose for living. Peggy had also been involved with drugs and alcohol for 11 years. She was raised in church, with her father being a pastor for quite some time. After many years of rebellion, she made Jesus the Lord of her life on April 12, 1979. Peggy and I began dating and were married on October 23, 1979. We have two children, Renee and Gary Lee. We moved from West Virginia to California in 1982 and met through Teen Challenge, our now pastors, Pat and Kathy Harrelson. God had a plan in bringing our lives together. We have been involved with the ministry of Harvest Christian Church since 1984. In 1998 Champions In Christ Motorcycle Ministry was birthed and it has been a privilege to be a part of such a great tool that God is using to be a witness to other bikers in our community and other parts of the country. We give God all the glory for what He has done and is continuing to do in and through our lives.
