Santos and Amy met in high school and started dating.  Santos eventually came to church with Amy, but with no desire to be a Christian at that time.  Amy was just excited that she got her boyfriend to go to church with her, not knowing he was only coming to be with her.  Though sometimes during a crisis or difficult situation, people call out to God and He hears them.  Santos came to Amy one night very upset, angry and hurt due to a crisis in his family.  She took this opportunity to tell him of God's love for him and that God could help him.   They prayed, and not only did God work a miracle in the relationship with his father, but God also showed His unconditional love to Santos and it gripped his heart.  Very soon after that on a Sunday morning Santos gave his whole heart to God and has never been the same.  His life is now full of love and God's love within him is very evident.  He is a changed man.  Santos and Amy were married in December of 1999.  Their household is one where God's love and joy reigns.  Santos said, "We are truly blessed; we have been married for 8 years and now have three children."

For six years they have been a part of Champions In Christ Motorcycle Ministry. Since they don't yet own their own bike, they have been privileged to "chase" or follow the motorcycles in their truck on each ride.  Santos and Amy said, "We enjoy being a part of Champions In Christ and all that they are involved in.  It is a desire of ours to reach the biker community with a message of God's love and grace for their lives.  Giving people the message of hope, that there is a God who loves them and isn't mad at them.  There isn't anything too great for God to change, make new or handle in their life.  What He has done for us He will and wants to do for them!"
