Rev. P.T. Varghese is the founder and president of Mahaneh-Dan Fellowship which was started in 1989 with a small Bible school through a vision God gave him. This ministry is based at Ulhasnagar, located northeast of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. In 1992 the ministry was registered under the Public Trust Act and in Maharashtra and Gujarat states. Today this organization has 300 local churches and stations in 13 states in and around India. More than 90% of the churches are in remote villages which have been pioneered by the ministries Bible School graduates.
Mahaneh-Dan Theological Training Center is a three year academic school. The majority of the students are from villages and tribal areas. These students are provided with a full scholarship for boarding, food, and other expenses. After the completion of the course they are sent to the pioneering fields where the gospel of Jesus Christ has never been heard. The ministry also holds open air meetings where many deliverances and miracles of healings are witnessed. Seminars are also conducted at the counseling center in New Delhi with professional Christian counselors.
